4-H and FFA Project Pre-Entry

4-H/FFA Exhibitors and Open Class Livestock Exhibitors - MUST pre-enter your projects otherwise you will not be allowed to exhibit at the 2017 Delta County Fair. If you have questions about pre-entry requirements, refer to the Delta County Fair Book or contact the Delta County CSU Extension Office.

Important Dates for Livestock Exhibitors


Pre-Entries are Due to the Extension Office by 4:30 pm on July 7th!!. Failure to pre-enter your project(s) by this deadline will prohibit you from exhibiting at the 2017 Delta County Fair.


Buyer Invitation Form

Attention all 4-H and FFA Members exhibiting Market Livestock projects at the 2016 Delta County Fair:

The Junior Market Livestock Sale Committee voted in 2016 to require ALL 4-H and FFA Members selling an animal/cheese at the Delta County Fair Junior Market Livestock Sale to complete a form showing you have invited two (2) buyers to the Sale.

Failure to complete the form and return it with your pre-entries with signatures from two individuals/businesses will result in the Sale Committee taking $25 per invitation not completed, up to $50 from your sale check!

Round Robin Showmanship Contest

The Round Robin is the premier showmanship contest of the Delta County Fair and is comprised of the First Place Showpersons in the Senior, Intermediate and Junior classes of Market Beef, Sheep, Swine, Goat as well as Dairy and Horse. These champion showpersons are automatically entered in the Round Robin Contest to determine a Grand Champion Showman in each age group.

Friday, August 11th - 5:00 pm - Events Center

Pee Wee Showmanship Contest

On Friday, August 11th at 3:00 pm in the Events center, we will host the Pee Wee Showmanship Contest. This Exhibition is open to all 4-H and non 4-H Members between the ages of 5 and 7. All animals exhibited must be born in 2017. Lambs, calves and goat kids must be halter broke. All animals must be checked in at the Livestock Office no later than 2:00 pm on the day of the show. No Overnight accomodations are available for open class exhibitors. Pre-Entry is due by 4:30 pm on July 7, 2017.
